Nehemiah’s Way

‘Nehemiah’s Way’ is a passionate community of supporters who bring clean water to rural communities every month. The vision is to see the whole nation of Tanzania changed through the love and power of Jesus Christ.
The biblical story of Nehemiah demonstrates how much can be accomplished, when we align ourselves with the will and plan of God. It shows us the kind of impact one individual and his friends can have on a nation. They achieved the impossible! It highlights the importance of prayer and that every person is needed and invited to take his place.
Since our beginning, we have achieved more than we imagined:
- Over 5 million people now have access to clean drinking water.
- Bringing transformation to countless communities, schools, medical facilities and prisons.
- In our region thousands of people have heard the gospel with many deciding to follow Jesus.
- We have established an advancing avocado farm in Tanzania with a long term sustainable vision.
Not forgetting, the 100+ widows enrolled in our seed program, the churches we have seen planted and strengthened through our gospel truck, helping to reinstate prayer into schools, assisting and saving lives through healthcare and relief, ministering into prisons and witnessing the WFA team and their families thriving physically and spiritually.
BUT, from the very beginning we have always known that this is about the whole NATION.
“Can a nation be changed?”
“Is it possible Lord?”
“How?”
Over the last few months these questions have been pressing heavier on our hearts, like an invitation from God himself.
We carry a deep burden and compassion for the nation of Tanzania. We believe it will take a committed community, an army of people to join us and help strengthen our foundation to enlarge our impact.
Currently, we have 89 incredible dedicated monthly supporters, they are the backbone of our work and we couldn’t do it without them. We are so thankful to you all.
Our goal is to increase the ‘Nehiemiah’s Way’ community to 350 people.
With 2500+ friends receiving our newsletter, many helping answer our calls to actions and thousands more joining us on FB and instagram. This goal is certainly possible!
